18 Of My Favorite Augmented Reality iDevice Apps for Education

Augmented reality holds great promise for engaging students in new ways. These are the apps I am currently playing with which seem to hold great promise. Most of these are free to use and require no registration, account creation, or logins.

SKETCH AR	SketchAR is for those who have always wanted but have never been able to draw. It is an application through which the user sees a virtual image on the surface of which they are planning to trace a sketch. In addition to this, the app is designed for professional artists as a simple and convenient way to trace sketches onto any desired surface (e.g., canvas, wall, etc.).
METAVERSE	The easiest way to create Augmented Reality experiences. Note: Content must be created on a PC or Mac and cannot be created on the app. The app is to engage with pre-created experiences. Hence the link alongside is to the main webpage.
